Weird and Amazing Science:

Put a needle through a balloon without popping it? Make your own snow? Experiment and learn some very weird science concepts while understanding the reasons behind them. Also create a number of toys designed to demonstrate scientific concepts including a telescope, working motor, ball-launching catapult, vortex tornado, working compass, slippery slime and more.
Ages - 8-13; Class is 3.5 hours long for 5 days (half session)

Inventor's Workshop:

Discover how to make simple machines like the wheel and axle, gear and pulley to solve everyday problems. Students will prepare a statement of need, sketch the machine, plan construction, build machine and iterate on design for improvements.

Flight and Physics:

Blast off to a new space exploring how to build balloon vehicles, solar cars, robotic flying insects and more. Learn age-appropriate physics concepts underlying flight in a friendly, hands-on environment. Students will bring home some of their projects including a Sling-Wing glider and balloon car.
